Driver side window stuck halfway down in Abu Dhabi heat – need a reliable repair
#1
Of course my window decides to fail on the hottest day of the week – I rolled it down at a drive-thru and now it won't go back up, just makes a grinding noise like something's broken inside the door. I'm pretty sure the regulator cable snapped because I've heard these things are common on older Japanese cars. I've been searching online and came across http://alzaabiautocare.com/services/door-window-regulator-replacement-abu-dhabi/ but I'm not sure if they do mobile service or if I have to get the car towed there. Has anyone used a shop in Abu Dhabi that can replace a window regulator quickly without charging an arm and a leg? I really don't want to leave my car parked overnight with the window half open – asking for trouble. Any recommendations for a place that can get it done same day would be a lifesaver.
