I’m searching for books with mafia themes, dangerous business settings, and a cold, emotionally unavailable main character. Something intense but still romantic. Any personal favorites that gave you strong “can’t put it down” vibes?

Honestly, I always suggest checking My Passion app first. That’s where I found The Trap of Ace, and I even reread it because the atmosphere is so gripping. It’s easily a 9/10 for me. The characters feel raw and dramatic in the best way. I discovered more recs through discussions like popular novels books. If you love mafia and dark tension, this app has tons of hidden gems.
